Our Products
Deli
Didn’t pack food? We have a variety of prepared items that you can grab-go for your needs. Currently, we have changing deli specials and menu items to provide variety for our customer’s meal plans. In addition, our deli has an Ice Cream station, which is sold by the scoop with your choice of cones and a new Jones Slushy Machine.
Groceries
We continue to try new products expanding our selection wherever possible. Our goal is that if there is a product you would like to have, we will try everything we can to get it in for you. Come see our grocery selection.
Seafood
We have a fresh frozen selection of seafood, all locally caught, and packaged by Hub City Fish Market. There is a selection of shellfish, salmon, and cod for our customers convenience: Chinook Salmon, Candied Salmon, Pink Salmon, Ling Cod, Black Cod, and Bacon Wrapped Scallops.
Gifts and Artwork
Come see our locally made products! Chemainus Salish Sea Market looks for opportunities to support our local artists and their traditional practices. There are some locally made products that include handcrafted wool knitting and carved cedar art. Furthermore, there is also a wide variety of Native Northwest goods that ranges from clothing, stationary, and cups/water bottles.
Fishing Supplies
There is a good selection of fishing supplies that give our local fishers an opportunity to use trolling gear, jigging gear, crab traps, and bait. We also stock some locally made products from Yum Yum Baits and Lighthouse Lures, as well as some tackle from Gibbs Delta.
Hardware
Currently, we are stocked with some convenience based hardware products that will be tailored to best suit the needs of our customers. You’ll be able to find tarps, rope, hardware, automotive, and much more.
Lottery
Chemainus Salish Sea Market is equipped as a BCLC Retail Location, which is stocked with all your lottery needs. 19+ to play.
History & Ownership
Penelakut Tribe purchased the business formerly known as 49th Parallel General store, which is now trading as Chemainus Salish Sea Market. The purchase of the business took place in February of 2020, and since then has been working at developing inventory for our local customers as well as visitors.
